Samsung launches its A Series smartphones

Valkyrie, a swanky new nightclub nestled in the still-to-be-fully-developed Uptown Parade section of Bonifacio Global City, was the scene of the launch recently of Samsung's A series of smartphones -- the A3, A5 and A7 smartphones.

This is the perfect kind of phone for me - the A7 - big screen but light & still easy to hold

What's common among these 3 smartphones? They are all slim and full-metal bodied -- front, back, side.  All three also sport Super Amoled Display making the colors really stand out and vibrant. They are perfect for selfies because all 3 variants have a 5MP front camera. And, they are all LTE ready as well.

Below are some pics I took of the 3 phones and a few of their features.

A3
The A3 has a 4.5" screen, an 8MP rear camera and quad core 1.2GHz processor.

A5
 The A5 sports a 5.0" screen, a 13MP rear cam and a quad core 1.2 GHz processor.

The A7 (my personal favorite) has a 5.5" screen. It also has a 13MP rear camera. But it runs on an octa core (1.5 GHz + 1.0 GHz quad) processor. And...for those who want a real deal, it is DUAL SIM! So instead of purchasing two smartphones for two telcos, you can just have this one smartphone.

The A3 and A5 smartphones will be available this January 2015 while the A7 will be released in the Philippines in February.

The Samsung A series prices are as follows:
A3 - PhP 16,990
A5 - PhP 19,990
A7 - PhP 24,990
