I don't always get to meet my married sister. We are both busy with our individual families. Besides that, we live in opposite sides of town. So when I had a chance to stay at Makati Shang for one night, she was the first person I called to ask if she had time to go on an overnight with me. She was free! We began with a lunch at nearby Glorietta, then checked into the hotel a little past 4pm. As soon as we entered the room, I got a very pleasant surprise. Not only did we have a king-sized bed and a fruit tray but the room was transformed into a mini home theater room!   My arm span isn't even enough to measure the width of this 78-inch screen!

The backdrop of the launch was as theatrical and exciting as the products being introduced. From a modern family setting that featured different ways of enjoying the 2014 product lineup of Samsung in family entertainment, we were treated to a Roman gladiator performance at the Blue Leaf event hall, where Samsung unveiled another world first - the Samsung Curved UHD TV .
