Listen to Superior Sound on the Go with Samsung's DA-F61 Bluetooth Speaker

It's no longer a novelty to be able to carry music around with you. We see it everywhere. All smartphones have music players that let us carry our entire music collection around with us. But the quality of sound leaves so much to be desired, especially if you want to share your music with others.

Enter Samsung's DA-F61 bluetooth speaker which was introduced recently.

Weighing in at 1.1kg, this bluetooth speaker is a powerhouse. It's only 225 x 131 x 46.5mm in dimension. It's a bit bulky for a bag or laptop bag but it will fit well as a boom box in your car or atop a cabinet at home.

Here are some more photos of the speaker from other angles.

The Samsung DA-F61 bluetooth speaker works with both iOS and Android devices. You can pair it so it works with bluetooth connectivity or, thanks to NFC technology, just turn on the NFC feature on your smartphone, tap it on the speaker and you're automatically connected. In addition, if you happen to have a Samsung TV (LED Series 6400 and up / PDP Series 5500 and up), the sound can also be projected through the bluetooth speaker through SoundShare.

Watch it at work. A tech blogger's smartphone, once paired, streams music into the speaker via bluetooth. The sound quality is actually quite good. If you have an app with an equalizer, you can even adjust the settings like bass and treble.

The Samsung DA-F61 bluetooth speaker retails at PhP 9,990 but there is a promo! If you buy a Samsung Smart TV before the end of 2013, you get it for only PhP 4,990.
